Mohammad Rizwan hit a century in 143 balls in the first innings of the first Test against Bangladesh.
The first match of the two-match Test series between Pakistan and Bangladesh is being played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from 21 August. Batting first after losing the toss, Pakistan lost three big wickets for a score of just 16, the team looked in a lot of trouble. But then a 98-run partnership for the fourth wicket between Saim Ayub and Saud Shakeel brought the team back into the game.

The 53rd over of Pakistan’s innings was bowled by Nahid Rana on the second day of the game. Nahid bowled a bouncer and Mohammad Rizwan managed to hit a shot over two slip fielders. Rizwan also completed his half-century with this four. Interestingly, the batsman played the same shot again to hit back-to-back boundaries on Nahid’s next ball.

Rizwan completed his century in 143 balls
Mohammad Rizwan is seen batting brilliantly in the first innings for Pakistan. He completed his half-century before the lunch break on the second day, then also completed his century in 143 balls during the second session. Rizwan scored a century by hitting a four on the last ball of the 74th over bowled by Shakib Al Hasan.
On the other hand, Pakistan’s vice-captain Saud Shakeel completed his century in 195 balls. At the time of writing the news, Rizwan and Saud Shakeel have made a strong partnership of 181 runs for the fifth wicket.
